SK CMS has extended its expertise in heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, to the use of natural homogenous catalysts in enzymes.
We use enzymes routinely to manufacture appropriate fine chemicals, particularly in the area of chiral intermediates and chiral resolution.
We are currently producing (S)-2-Tetrahydrofuroic acid and (R)-2-Tetrahydrofuroic acid in commercial quantity. Also, we have developed the bio-process to produce chiral alcohols.
